Interior Secretary Doug Burgum openly calls for the sale of public lands under the guise of addressing the housing shortage. This idea, first proposed by the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 and adopted into the 2024 RNC Platform, is a red herring. American Hunters & Anglers(AHA), like most public lands advocacy organizations, staunchly opposes the sale of any federal lands.

When Secretary Burgum was slated to speak at the Western Governors Association Meeting, AHA brought in the Glasgow Actions Team to amplify their message directly on the hotel building where Burgum was staying.
