While scientists warned of global temperatures increasing by 2.7°C, world leaders met in Glasgow for COP26, the UN climate change conference. The Glasgow Actions Team (founded in the lead-up to the summit), re-created and “sank” the COP26 stage and podium on the Forth & Clyde Canal in Glasgow, calling on leaders to live up to the ambitious Paris climate agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C.
